Soly won the first prize of “China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award”

The project belongs to the field of mining engineering, and the supporting unit is NFC Africa Mining Co., Ltd. The purpose of the project is to solve the problem of safe, efficient and economic recovery of resources under the condition of gently inclined crushing in Chambishi Copper Mine through digital and information technology.

Aiming at the special mining technical conditions of the west ore body of Chambishi Copper Mine, the project focuses on information technology and focuses on human behavior, equipment efficiency and working face status. Based on the TOC restriction theory and 5M1E analysis method, the project comprehensively analyzed the main bottleneck problems restricting the mining production under the Chambishi Copper Mine, formulated the construction framework of production management and control information system suitable for the production characteristics of Chambishi Copper Mine, established Zambia's first production information management and control platform and system, and realized the integration of a set of systems across platforms and multiple subsystems; Based on the MES system, aiming at the new production organization mode of Chambishi Copper Mine, the MES APP system for production management and control has been developed by making full use of digital and information technology, extending the management and control tentacles to the production end, and realizing the real-time, fine and transparent management of the production process.

The appraisal of project achievements has reached the international leading level, which is of great significance for promoting the development of mining technology for gently inclined broken orebodies.

The research work is closely combined with the mine production practice, and the achievements are transformed into productive forces on the spot, with obvious social, economic and ecological benefits.
